Who We Are
We have a diverse range of backgrounds, but we share a passion for property management and creating great experiences for guests
In 2016 Kylie-Anne started two Airbnb properties, one in Byron Bay and one in Brisbane, while also continuing her corporate job as an Agile Coach at Suncorp. Eventually realising how much work was involved in these and how hard it was to get support for the services required, she inevitably transitioned, from the corporate world, to helping other people with their holiday rental properties and domestic and commercial cleaning requirements and studying interior design.
We have since gathered together a fabulous and committed team, with a broad range of skills, to delivery all aspects of property management.
We now support a suite of commercial and domestic properties for their bookings, cleaning, design and management needs.

What I like most about Sanctuary Services is that it happened organically. I just got caught up in the joy of helping people make their own small businesses from holiday letting. And with my background in environmental science and organic gardening and permaculture I like things that happen naturally!
This also allowed me to return home to Byron Bay after 20 years in Information Technology, Project and Portfolio Management, People Management and Corporate (Agile) Coaching.
My focus in the business is continuous improvement, building a fantastic team, pricing, listing optimisation, consulting on setup and interior design, managing works, as well as making sure everything runs smoothly.

Property Manager
Alicia's career in property & project management in luxury boutique hotels in Europe & Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula, and other regional areas of Australia brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our property portfolio. She has worked at Coqui Coqui hotels across all of the properties, retail spaces & brand partnerships honing her craft of bringing an exceptional customer & brand experience. And we are now lucky to have her on the team, back in her home town of Byron Bay.
Alicia takes great pleasure in delivering well organised and calming encounters for our guests and property owners & as well as smoothly managing the Sanctuary Services team. Born and raised in the Northern Rivers she understands and appreciates the dynamic rush of holiday makers coming to enjoy our slice of paradise and the calm moments of our (short) slower season that allows us all to reconnect to ourselves, family and nature. But it is her engaging and helpful nature that we know you will enjoy working with.
